Our South Kensington clinic combines spinal manual therapy with specialized exercises similar to the Schroth method and SEAS approach.

We focus on core stability, breathing mechanics, and targeted strengthening to stabilize the spine and improve aesthetics.

Ali has experience working with SOS Scoliosis which is the leading clinic in the UK for Scoliosis management with gold standard methods that are evidence based.

What physiotherapy can do

Reduce pain, improve physical appearance through muscle balancing, increase flexibility, and prevent further curve progression in growing adolescents.

What physiotherapy can't do

Physiotherapy cannot 'cure' scoliosis or completely reverse a structural bone deformity once developed, but it manages the symptoms and functional impact effectively.

Specialist scoliosis care

Led by Ali Momeni Pour, our care is informed by advanced MSK expertise and a deep understanding of spinal mechanics. We work alongside orthopaedic consultants if surgical or bracing interventions are required.

What to expect at your first appointment

Your 30-minute initial consultation includes a comprehensive spinal assessment, posture analysis, X-ray review (if available), and your first targeted treatment. We’ll establish your baseline curve and functional goals.

FAQs

Can physiotherapy straighten my spine?

While it typically doesn't fully straighten a structural curve in adults, it improves postural balance and can reduce the appearance of the curve significantly.

Do I need an X-ray before booking?

It is not essential, but very helpful. If you have imaging results, please bring them to your first appointment.
